Training & Development is an important aspect of any career.
In most professions, knowledge and work experience is usually acquired through the college/ university system, followed by a 'good job' with a good package and all the rewards that come with it.
Training & development is then offered as part of the job - a continuous process of acquiring new knowledge, learning new working practises, appraisal of work capabilities, learning new skills, etc. It involves becoming a more 'rounded' individual which can lead to better job prospects and steps up the career ladder.
In Network Marketing, however, the need for Training & Development is even more significant because most people enter this industry with no knowledge of it whatsoever, and no experience in sales or marketing. Those that join the industry thinking they can make a 'quick buck' will be severely let down, unless they are willing to acquire the knowledge and learn the new skills required, which of course takes time.
Newcomers must be willing, therefore, to learn about the industry and must understand that 'you have to be in it for the long haul', as with any other business enterprise - for at least 4 or 5 years.
The reality is this: we as human beings seek knowledge. There are those who like to learn something new every day. There will be times in our life when things might get difficult - let's say you get made redundant and need to find work, but there's no work around for the skills you've got. Do you take a less-skilled job or learn new skills? You can't 'stay still' forever and take things for granted, especially as the global economy is changing at such a rapid rate.
Most people in Network Marketing didn't know anything about the subject when they first started out.
Even the best in the industry had to go through some form of 'learning curve', and experience the ups and downs, before they achieved any level of success.
So, with this website, we want to share our knowledge through the 'Home' section and the 'articles' that we submit to the various article directories. And via this Training section we intend to provide a few tips and secrets about the industry.
And you can learn lots more about Network Marketing, sales, business and investing by reading the latest books on the market - check out our 'Books & audiobooks' section... this will go some way towards helping us finance this website, thank you.

It's best to read as much as you can and make up your own mind as to which strategies you want to use. Some strategies will work across most Network Marketing companies and some won't. That's up to you to work out - take responsibility for your own actions and use your own judgment.
